Có nét tương đồng người anh em của mình là bia con voi Delirium Tremens, hương vị bia Delirium Nocturnum với sự kết hợp công phu từ những nguyên liệu như vỏ cam, trái anh đào đen với hậu vị đắng của hoa bia. Chút dư vị cay cháy bỏng trên bề mặt lưỡi luôn thách thức những người dũng cảm thưởng thức chúng. Hương vị bia sẽ trở nên tuyệt vời hơn nếu ướp lạnh ở ngưỡng 15 tới 18 độ. Ngay từ lần đầu tiên thưởng thức, người uống sẽ được trải qua rất nhiều hương vị khó tả. Đầu tiên là một vị cam ngọt thanh giòn tan tiếp đó là một vị táo chin đậm đà. Cuối cùng, vị anh đào cực kì quyến rũ hòa quyện trong vị đắng mạnh của hoa bia lưu lại rất lâu.

Cũng giống như bao chủng loại bia khác mang thương hiệu bia Delirium, chất bia Delirium Nocturnum được rót ra chiếc ly mang đường cong đầy quyến rũ với màu nâu đậm ánh đỏ min màng. Bia Bỉ thích hợp với những món ăn khai vị, đơn giản như các loại sandwich thịt nguôi hay pho mai xông khói. Trước khi thưởng thức, ban nên ướp bia xuống nhiệt độ vừa phải dao động khoảng 15 tới 18 độ để cảm nhận hương hoa trái đậm đà và vị đắng nguyên chất của bia.

Khác với các dòng bia được đóng chai thủy tinh, bia Delirium Nocturnum được đóng chai sứ. Trên thân chai bia sứ màu trắng sữa là chú voi màu hồng cùng lớp giấy phủ cổ chai mang màu xanh da trời.
