Esta es una cerveza belga fuerte, compleja, con mucho sabor y carácter. Los sabores de chicle, mango, toques de piña y plátano se extienden a lo largo de especias picantes. El regaliz sutil emerge a medio sorbo, equilibrando la frutalidad manifiesta de la cerveza, y se combina con la pimienta y un bocado amargo para resaltar el final. La fruta y las especias se quedan mucho tiempo después, haciendo de esta cerveza un excelente escaparate de la levadura belga.

Color y vista – EBC: 80 – Marrón chocolate oscuro. Una espuma compacta, de color blanco-amarillo, estable y cremosa.
Olor: Toques de caramelo, mocca y chocolate. También están presentes especias como el regaliz y el cilantro.
Sabor: Al principio, una sensación muy agradable en boca a alcohol y suavidad. Le sigue un creciente amargor, que en parte procede del lúpulo, pero también de la malta tostada y de la malta de chocolate. Hacia el final, agradable equilibrio entre los toques amargo, agrio y dulce.

Al naso offre aromi maltati e note di caramello, caffè e cioccolato seguite da un tocco fruttato e da punte speziate di liquirizia e pepe. In bocca è ben maltata con sapori complessi, sia torrefatti che amari. Troviamo poi anche note di liquirizia e cioccolato, nonché una leggera acidità, mentre l’alcol accompagna la degustazione dall’inizio alla fine.
Ottima abbinata a cibi secchi, dolci al cioccolato o crostate.
