Etengabe hobetzeko nahiak eta kuriositateak hurrengoko pausuak ekarri zituen. Saltus 2016an garagardo munduan NOMADA bezala hasi zen Españiar estatuko hainbat fabriketan. 2017an beste NOMADEKIN batera, Iruñako fabrika zahar bat erosi, eta EH Bier Koop. sortu zuten. Urte beteko lan gogorren ondoren uztak jasotzen ari dira 2018 geroztik.
Ekoiztutako garagardoen artean, gehien nabarmentzen direnak lupuludunak dira eta osagai honen jolasen gozamenean oinarrituak. Bertako osagaien erabilpena ere aldarrikatzen dute. Horren adibide, Erri berrin (Olite) ekoiztutako lupulua edo haiek hazitako lupulua, Murgian bertan erabili ohi dute bertako ekoizpen sektorearen lana bermatuz.
Lehendabiziko kloratipa ekoiztu zen geroztik, lata da aukeratutako eduki-ontzia 33zl-ko neurrian.
EH Bier Koop. Berriozarren Nafarroan kokatuta dagoen fabrika da, orain dela urte batzuk Txikita markak bere garagardoak ekoizten zituen lekuan. Gaur egun birmoldaketa haundi baten ondoren Saltusen ekoizpen lekua da. Bertan, urtean 100.000 litro ekoizteko aukera dago. Fabrikan erabilitako metodoa Isobarikoa da, eta horrek garagardoen kalitate maila handitzen du. Marka honen apustua kupel herdoilgaitzen erabilera da. Esta historia comienza por puro placer, el placer de beber una buena birra. Y es que Saltus nace de la disconformidad con el orden establecido, aquel que nos impone formas tristes y aburridas de beber cerveza. En la búsqueda de una alternativa es como estos dos murgiatarras comienzan a elaborar sus primeras cervezas. El techo de un garaje y unos cubos de plástico bastan para dar rienda suelta a esta ilusión y los primeros resultados no tardan en llegar. Saltus todavía no existía, pero su esencia ya empezaba a impregnar los paladares de muchos zuiatarras. Y esto acababa de empezar…
La curiosidad y las constantes ganas de mejorar hicieron el resto. Saltus nace en 2016 como una cervecera gypsy y elabora sus primeros lotes en diferentes fábricas del Estado. En 2017 deciden comprar una antigua fábrica de Pamplona y conforman junto a otros nómadas la cooperativa EH Bier Koop. Después de un año de trabajos de rehabilitación, la fábrica comienza a producir sus primeros lotes en 2018 y allá siguen desde entonces.
Entre sus cervezas abundan los estilos más lupuleros y es que la experimentación con este ingrediente ha sido una constante en su trayectoria cervecera. Pero además de buen hacer en sus elaboraciones hay compromiso. Compromiso con sus ámbitos más cercanos, en la búsqueda de materias primas locales que aporte valor añadido también a su entorno. Por ello utilizan lúpulo plantado en Olite o inician su propio cultivo en el valle de Zuia. Con su actitud nos demuestran que hay vida más allá de los lúpulos de ultramar y que apostando por lo local se apuesta también por la calidad y el futuro del sector.
La lata es el envase elegido ya desde la época en que elaboraron su primera Kloratipa y no han dejado de apostar por ella. Siempre en formato de 33cl, es sin duda el resguardo preferido de sus birras.
EH Bier koop es una fabrica que está ubicada en Berriozar (Navarra). Antiguamente era la fábrica que elaboraba toda la producción de la marca Txikita, hoy en día tras una buena remodelación es el lugar de elaboración de Saltus. La fábrica tiene una capacidad de producción de 100.000 litros al año. La fabricación se emplea por el método isobárico, aumentando mucho la calidad de las cervezas. Una de las apuestas mas remarcables de esta fabrica es la hecha por los barriles de acero inoxidable, de esta manera los barriles tiene muchos usos limitando mucho la utilización de barril de un solo uso.
