La palabra Laugar surge por primera vez allá por el año 2010 con la excusa de la cerveza como hobby, sedientos de cambio ante el aburrido panorama copado por la cerveza industrial.
Eneko será quien dé el primer paso a aglutinarnos a los otros cuatro miembros restantes en un pequeño local de Barakaldo, donde comenzaremos a elaborar las múltiples recetas que poco a poco comenzarán a tener más adeptos.
Lo que en un principio iban a ser elaboraciones para autoconsumo, poco a poco comenzó aexpandirse de nuestro local a amigos; de amigos a bares y de bares a ferias y festivales de cerveza. Tras la buena aceptación de las cervezas en términos de público y crítica, a principios de 2013 nos instalamos en el municipio de Gordexola en Bizkaia donde comenzamos una nueva andadura de manera profesional con el objetivo de ofrecer al mercado cervezas de calidad, contundentes y en constante innovación, que abarcan tanto los estilos más clásicos o la reinterpretación de los mismos hasta los más singulares y experimentales.
Es en mayo de 2014 cuando ponemos en marcha la fábrica, sacando nuestra primera cerveza: EPA! y desde entonces no hemos dejado de disfrutar, de poner alma en cada elaboración y de crear nuevas recetas y crecer, moviéndonos en el mercado tanto local como nacional así como internacional.Desde Laugar nuestra filosofía es clara y apostamos por la calidad frente a la cantidad en un producto elaborado con pasión, honestidad y alma durante todo su proceso, eligiendo para ello solo el uso de materias de primera calidad. No filtramos ni pasteurizamos las cervezas para que mantengan óptimas sus propiedades degustativas y nutritivas.
Nuestras cervezas se caracterizan por ser contundentes e innovadoras, concebimos el mundo de la cerveza artesana como un espacio sin límites para la imaginación en el que continuamente disfrutamos creando nuevas recetas, experimentando con todo tipo de ingredientes y estilos de cerveza o enfrentándonos a nuevos desafíos que dan como resultado una amplia variedad de estilos e intentando conseguir que tú también disfrutes de Laugar tanto como nosotros.
