Despite its approachable 4.5% ABV, it offers a sophisticated sensory profile of freshly ground espresso and dark chocolate. The interplay of roasted malts provides a solid backbone of toasted bread and light char without overwhelming the delicate nutty and earthy nuances of the three-origin coffee blend. It strikes a harmonious balance between a light, drinkable frame and the deep, roasted complexity expected of a well-crafted stout, finishing clean with a lingering coffee-shop essence.
Appearance. Deep ebony with garnet highlights; topped by a persistent, creamy tan head with fine lacing. Clarity is opaque, though clear at the edges.
Aroma. High intensity of fresh roasted coffee beans, showing notes of dark cocoa and toasted hazelnut. Moderate malt notes of dark bread crust and light smoke. Esters and hop aroma are negligible, allowing the coffee to lead.
