La gamma di creazioni della Brasserie d’Achouffe è piuttosto ampia e variegata, anche se a dominare la scena sono principalmente La Chouffe (chiara), la Mc Chouffe (scura fruttata) e la N’ice Chouffe (scura speziata); tutte birre ad alta fermentazione e non filtrateche presentano un leggero gusto fruttato, sostituito poi da un retrogusto più amaro ed alcolico.
Mc Chouffe è una birra rossa rifermentata in bottiglia che, al naso, sprigiona aromi di spezie, di caramello e di frutta. In bocca, si ritrova una punta di amaro e sapori di frutta, malto tostato, caramello e lievito.
Ottima con funghi, salmone, cozze, ostriche, prosciutto di Parma e pancetta.
