La Calavera neix l’any 2012, amb la seva introducció dintre de la cooperativa de treball associat Riembau que comparteix amb el restaurant La Barricona, amb qui manté un projecte en comú gastronòmic-cerveser. Produïm cervesa artesana. Lluny de la indústria. A prop dels llúpols. I de les maltes. I dels seus sabors i de les seves aromes.
Tenim un catàleg. I també fem coses rares. I col·laboracions. Perquè som com som i, sobretot, perquè venim d’on venim. I venim de les mobilitzacions contra el Quinto Centenario. I venim del Rock Antimili. I som el resultat d’Ateneus populars. I som centres socials. I ara fem cervesa. Sí. I a més t’agradarà.
Riembau.Cooperativa de treball associat.
Del “va com va” al “va com volem”, de la certesa que ja no ens alimenten molles perquè volem el pa sencer, de l’herència de l’Ovidi al projecte col•lectiu. Així neix el juliol del 2009 a Ripoll la Cooperativa Riembau SCCL. I en el nostre imaginari un objectiu compartit: tirar endavant un projecte de cooperació social, a la comarca del Ripollès. I perquè potser comencem a anar de tornada en algunes coses i hem acoseguit saber el que no volem ni ens interessa, per aquí estem, apostant per l’autogestió del treball i la sobirania alimentària…de la terra a la taula!.
Som La Calavera i també La Barricona, la casa de menjars de la cooperativa. Amb menús treballats. Tant entre setmana com en cap de setmana. Equilibrats i realitzats en funció del mercat, la temporada i els productors locals. Una cuina tradicional. La de xup-xup. La de tota la vida i combinada amb sabors arribats d’arreu utilitzant les últimes tècniques de cuina.
