This sessionable American IPA delivers an intense sensory experience through innovative hop bursting. The aromatic profile is dominated by a complex blend of Citra and Mosaic, yielding vivid notes of tropical fruit and citrus, while El Dorado adds layers of stone fruit. Underlying piney resins from Cascade and Crystal provide a classic Pacific Northwest backbone. Despite the modest alcohol, the presence of Vienna and Light Crystal malts offers a subtle, toasty foundation that supports the assertive, lupulin-driven bitterness. It finishes remarkably clean and dry, showcasing the bright, floral essence of Sterling and Ahtanum hops in a crisp, refreshing format.
Appearance. Medium gold with brilliant clarity. Pours with a frothy, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring a bouquet of mango, passionfruit, and bright citrus zest. Subtle pine, herbal spice, and floral notes. Low, clean, bready malt background with a hint of toasted grain.
Taste. Immediate impact of tropical fruit and resinous pine. Very high hop flavor mirroring the aroma. Medium-high bitterness is firm but smooth and well-integrated. Low malt sweetness with faint caramel and biscuit notes. Finishes very dry and crisp with a lingering hoppy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a crisp, refreshing texture. Moderate to high carbonation. Very low alcohol warmth. No astringency or harshness despite the high hop load.
