Questa birra viene poi fatta invecchiare per qualche anno in cantina, in posizione verticale e al riparo dalla luce.
Al naso si presenta con sentori agrumati (arancia dolce) e di frutta matura, in particolare susine e prugne bianche), accompagnati da note vegetali, floreale e leggermente speziate (pepe e cannella). Al palato è estremamente complesso: amara, rustica, terrosa e finemente acidula. Si conclude poi in un finle caratterizzato da note fruttate ed agrumate (scorza di limone) e un tocco di liquirizia.
Una birra belga di riferimento da gustare con gli amici e da bere a diverse temperature per sentirne tutti gli aromi.
