Visualmente, se trata de una preciosa cerveza rubia de cuerpo dorado, con una fina capa de espuma color nieve. En nariz, ofrece unos interesantes aromas de pasas y compota de manzana. Esta complejidad se debe a la finura de los lúpulos de los hermanos cistercienses. En boca presenta un equilibrio interesante, entre las notas afrutadas de las levaduras y el agradable amargor de los lúpulos amargantes. Así pues, su estilo es muy diferente del de sus hermanas mayores, la Chimay Rouge y la Chimay Bleu.
¡Se aconseja encarecidamente consumir esta cerveza rubia relativamente joven, fría (6 a 8°) y en su propio vaso Chimay a fin de poderla disfrutar en todo su esplendor!
