This elegant Grape Ale showcases a sophisticated blend of Syrah, Cinsault, and Grenache pomace, resulting in a complex, vinous character. Spontaneous fermentation from indigenous grape yeast imparts a nuanced fruit profile of dark berries and soft stone fruit, harmonized by a neutral pale malt base. Six months of maturation in used oak barrels introduces a subtle, earthy depth and refined tannins without overpowering the delicate fermentation esters. It presents a low, refreshing tartness and an exceedingly dry finish, reminiscent of a fine sparkling rosé, balancing rustic berry notes with a crisp, clean beer structure and vibrant carbonation.

Appearance. Presents a deep pink to light burgundy hue with excellent clarity. The head is white with a faint reddish tint, showing medium-low retention and delicate lacing.

Aroma. Moderate to high intensity featuring prominent red fruit aromatics of raspberry, blackberry, and subtle spice from the Syrah. A very light, crackery malt character supports the fruit, while used oak aging contributes faint woody and earthy notes. Hop aroma is absent.

Taste. Leading with tart red berries and dark grape skins, the palate reflects the rustic berry flavors of the three grape varietals. The malt is supportive and lightly kilned, offering a clean, grainy backdrop. Bitterness is very low, and the fermentation is clean with a low, refreshing acidity.
