Da homebrewer a beerfirmer, il passo è stato breve e fulmineo: pur non essendo proprietari degli impianti, in ogni birrificio in cui abbiamo operato abbiamo sempre prestato la massima attenzione ad ogni fase del processo produttivo.
Negli stessi anni, pur essendo una beerfirm, apriamo il nostro pub Mir a Sesto San Giovanni, ottenendo anche diversi riconoscimenti e premi per le nostre prime birre.
A inizio 2019 inizia l’avventura che ci ha portato all’acquisizione integrale del Birrificio Opera di Pavia, dove già operavamo come beerfirmer prima e dipendenti in seguito.
Stiamo vivendo ora una nuova fase, ricca di stimoli e di responsabilità da non sottovalutare, da affrontare con la stessa sfrontata semplicità che è possibile trovare nelle nostre birre.
Muttnik è una parola che nasce, in senso dispregiativo, dall’unione di Mutt (bastardino) e Sputnik, il satellite usato per lanciare i primi cani in orbita all’interno della corsa allo spazio degli anni ‘50 e ‘60.
