La Moinette Blonde est une bière de fermentation haute, refermentée en bouteille. Créée en 1955, cette bière est le fleuron de notre brasserie sur le marché belge. Son nom provient d’une déformation du vieux français « moëne » signifiant « marécage, lieu humide », caractéristique propre à notre région il y a plusieurs siècles. Il existait aussi un moulin et une cense de la Moinette à Tourpes, propriétés de la famille Dupont. A l’origine, cette bière était vendue sous l’appellation « Abbaye de la Moinette » pour devenir simplement « Moinette » après 1980. Bière d’un blond cuivré, aux arômes de houblons fins, la Moinette Blonde est très désaltérante grâce à son équilibre entre moelleux, amertume et fruité. This is a complex blond beer with a fruity nose (yellow fruits), enhanced by citrus aromas (orange) and spices (cloves). In the mouth there is a nice balance between a bitter and sweet taste. The result? A full-bodied beer that still retains all its lightness.

To drink at cellar temperature (12°C), as an aperitif or with your dishes such as the famous “Lapin à la Moinette”, asparagus, as well as with our cheeses Moinette Jeune and Moinette Vieux.

Colore dorato pallido velato, con una schiuma bianca compatta, fine e con una buona ritenzione. Naso dolce e ricco di frutta sotto spirito (albicocca e pesca), zucchero candito, agrumi (scorza d’arancia), caramello, luppolo ed una leggera speziatura donata dai lieviti. Il corpo è robusto, ma la gradazione alcolica è pericolosamente molto ben nascosta.
In bocca c’è una quasi totale corrispondenza con l’aroma, con l’aggiunta di note mielose.
Morbida, pulita, molto dolce ma caratterizzata da un finale secco che fortunatamente pulisce bene il palato.
Lascia un retrogusto abboccato e fruttato, con l’alcool ancora ben mimetizzato.
