House On Fire is a decadent collaboration presenting a lush, dessert-forward profile. This Wild Specialty Beer delivers an intense berry medley where the sharp tartness of Blackcurrant and deep richness of Black Cherry meld seamlessly with sweet Strawberry notes and the floral, skin-tannin character of Blue Grape. An indulgent "ice cream" element introduces velvety vanilla and cream sweetness that rounds out the vibrant acidity. It drinks like a liquid confection, balancing punchy fruit acids against a thick, smoothie-like base. The experience is defined by its vibrant, multi-layered fruit expression and a luxurious, coating texture that remains refreshing despite its density.
Appearance. Opaque, deep purple-magenta with a thick, pulpy consistency (SRM 40+). A dense, pink-tinted head forms with moderate retention, leaving significant fruit-matter lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity. Dominated by jammy blackcurrant and ripe strawberry. Distinctive vanilla and sweet cream notes evoke melted ice cream. Subtle floral grape esters and a clean lactic tartness provide a refreshing counterpoint to the sugary berry bouquet.
Taste. The palate is hit with a massive wave of fruit; tart blackcurrant leads, followed by the dark stone-fruit richness of black cherry. The smoothie aspect provides a heavy lactose-driven sweetness that cushions the sharp acidity. Blue grape adds a slight tannic complexity toward the finish. Balanced heavily toward fruit and cream, with a clean, lingering berry-puree aftertaste and zero hop bitterness.
Mouthfeel. Full-bodied and highly viscous with a creamy, mouth-coating texture. Carbonation is moderate, providing enough lift to prevent the fruit solids from feeling overly heavy. Low alcohol warmth; very high creaminess with no hop astringency.
