The use of Pilsen malt provides a soft, grainy sweetness, while Spanish Nugget and German Perle hops deliver a signature spicy and floral bitterness that is more pronounced than typical examples of the style. Brewed with soft water from A Coruña, the beer undergoes a long cold-maturation, resulting in a clean fermentation and a smooth, neutral palate. This flagship lager concludes with a crisp, dry finish and a lingering herbal character that highlights its well-crafted, refreshing nature.
Appearance. Brilliant golden color (approx. 4-5 SRM). Clear to brilliant clarity with a persistent, creamy white head and fine lacing.
Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring grainy-sweet malt and a subtle hint of toasted grain. Hop character is low to moderate, displaying spicy and floral notes. Extremely clean fermentation profile with no esters or diacetyl.
Taste. Initial impression is of moderate grainy-sweet malt, followed by a light floral and herbal hop flavor. The bitterness is moderate—firm for the style—providing a balanced counterpoint to the malt. The finish is clean and dry with a lingering hop character and a faint touch of roasted malt complexity.
