This unique Winter Seasonal Beer from Brouwerij De Ranke defies tradition by trading heavy sweetness for a bold, refreshing bitterness. A base of Pale and Munich malts provides a toasty backbone, while Caramel malt adds a deep amber hue and subtle richness. The hop profile is assertive and complex, featuring the spicy, floral elegance of Hallertau alongside the earthy, dark fruit nuances of Brewers Gold. A distinct addition of liquorice weaves through the profile, adding a semi-spiced complexity that lingers into a notably long, dry finish. Appearance. Deep amber to copper (SRM 12-14); brilliant clarity with a dense, persistent off-white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.
