De naam “Dulle Teve” is een soort scheldwoord voor een lastige vrouw. Het werd eerst gebruikt door een caféhouder die een eigen bier wilde en twee mogelijkheden zat te proeven aan de bar. Daardoor werd zijn vrouw steeds ongeduldiger en bleef hem bellen, totdat hij tegen haar zei: “Weet ge wat gij zeit? Een dulle teve!” “Nu nog een bier maken, de naam hebben we al”.

La "puttana pazza'' (sembra che il nome derivi dall'esclamazione di uno dei primi assaggiatori disturbato dalla moglie perché era in ritardo mentre tranquillamente ne stava provando uno dei primi brassaggi), contiene semplicemente malto, acqua, luppolo e zucchero caramellato. Il luppolo viene aggiunto a secco e la birra non è filtrata né pastorizzata, per cui il suo gusto si trasforma nel tempo. Birra splendida, che si evolve nell'assaggio. Colore dorato carico, leggermente velata ed opalescente, schiuma abbondante cremosa e persistente. Aroma pungente di luppolo e abboccato di malto, complesso. Corpo strutturato, ma non pesante, sorprendentemente duttile per l'alta gradazione alcolica della birra. Comincia pastoso di malto e abboccato di caramello, poi si evolve con note tanniche e di frutta matura astringente (susine) che ripulisce alla perfezione il palato. Finisce lunga, dolce e piacevolmente complessa.

Il colore è ambrato chiaro velato, la schiuma a grana fine è bianca e persistente. Al naso è complessa, crosta di pane, mela al forno, miele, canditi. Al palato è fruttata, (arancia, pesca) e maltata (biscotto, crosta di pane). Il finale è dolce ma attenuato dal luppolo. La carbonazione è elevata come in quasi tutte le creazioni di Kris. L'alcool lascia un piacevole warming ma non evidenzia la sua pericolosità.
Incredibilmente beverina nonostante i 10 gradi alcolici, rischia di fregarti.
Questa birra è un capolavoro, l'unica pazzia sarebbe lasciarsela scappare!
