This tea is traditionally produced in Yunnan Province in China, and undergoes the process of microbial fermentation and maturation, and is then sometimes pressed into cakes or various other shapes. The tea enhances the earthy and tannic notes of the beer, giving it depth.
A mild acidity and pleasant minerality combine with freshness and a full-bodied character to make for a very intriguing and deep flavour matrix.
The name of this beer comes from the famous six tea mountains in Yunnan, from which most Pu’er tea comes from, and from which the peacock – chosen as illustration on the label – is the symbol.

Il nome di questa birra deriva dalle famose sei montagne del tè della provincia dello Yunnan (Cina), da cui proviene la maggior parte del tè Pu’er, e di cui il pavone – scelto come illustrazione in etichetta – è il simbolo.
Sei Montagne è una sorta di ri-edizione ispirata ad Anniversario 2017, birra che aveva avuto grandissimo successo e che ora entra in linea con alcune differenti accortezze nell’infusione della materia prima Pu’er, per esaltarne al meglio la risultante aromatica e la matrice tattile-gustativa nella bevuta.
Il Pu’er – varietà di tè cinese ottenuta mediante un processo di fermentazione microbica delle foglie essicate e laminate – esalta le note terrose e tanniche della birra, donandole profondità.
L’acidità non invadente, unita ad una gradevole mineralità, facilita la beva, mentre sul palato si alternano freschezza, corpo e masticabilità, con una punta di calore. L’aromatica regala suggestioni antiche, tra tè nero, cantina, erbe officinali e un fruttato da nespola.
