Eclipse Elixir is a masterfully blended Imperial Stout that offers a sensory journey through layers of darkness and decadence. This deep, viscous liquid results from combining stouts aged in Buffalo Trace, Jim Beam, and Wild Turkey barrels, imparting rich nuances of charred oak and bourbon-soaked vanilla. Infusions of Sao Tome cocoa beans and Salvador Apaneca coffee beans create a profound core of bittersweet dessert chocolate and freshly roasted espresso. The addition of maple syrup elevates the experience, weaving threads of caramel and woodsy sweetness into the velvety texture. The result is a harmonious, warming symphony of roast and refined sugar, concluding with a complex, lingering finish.
Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque (40 SRM). Pours with a thick, deep tan head that shows moderate retention. High viscosity is visible through prominent legs on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity with a complex bouquet of dark dessert chocolate from Sao Tome cocoa and nutty espresso notes of Salvador Apaneca coffee. Significant barrel character offers vanilla, toasted oak, and bourbon-soaked caramel. Maple syrup adds a distinct woodsy sweetness, while low esters of prune and raisin meld with a smooth, noticeable alcohol presence.
Taste. Rich and dessert-like, dominated by the velvety sweetness of maple syrup. Intense flavors of dark cocoa and roasted coffee beans provide a bittersweet backbone, supported by deep caramel and vanilla from extensive barrel aging. Roast bitterness is moderately high but balanced by substantial residual sugar. The finish is long and warming, featuring lingering notes of charred oak and dark chocolate.
Mouthfeel. Very full-bodied, chewy, and viscous with a luxurious, velvety texture. Carbonation is low to moderate. A significant, smooth alcohol warmth is present, reflecting the high strength without being sharp.

En esta versión encontrarás intensas notas de chocolate amargo de postre y café, obtenidas al infusionar la cerveza con granos de café (variedad Salvador Apaneca) y granos de cacao (Santo Tomé). Todo se complementó perfectamente con jarabe de arce, realzando los sabores del caramelo y del postre, creando una sinfonía de sabores inolvidable.
