Night Knocker is a robust Black IPA that expertly balances the dark allure of a porter with the vibrant intensity of an American IPA. The sensory journey begins with a deep, dark brown hue and a tan, persistent head. On the nose, powerful American hops deliver a high-intensity bouquet of resinous pine and citrus, layered over subtle hints of coffee and light chocolate. The palate follows suit, offering a firm bitterness that cuts through the smooth, medium-bodied malt base. It finishes dry with a lingering piney hop character and a gentle, clean roastiness that avoids any harsh or burnt notes.

Appearance. Dark brown to opaque black (SRM 35-40). Pours with a moderate, persistent tan head that exhibits good retention and fine lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent resinous pine and citrus peel. Low to moderate malt presence provides supportive notes of milk chocolate and toasted bread with a whisper of cold-brew coffee. Clean fermentation profile with very low esters.

Taste. Initial punch of citrus and resinous hop flavors. Medium-low malt sweetness provides restrained chocolate and light roast, avoiding burnt or ashy qualities. Firm, high bitterness balances the malt, leading to a dry and clean finish with a lingering piney aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture. Moderate carbonation provides a crisp lift on the palate, accompanied by a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.

La Night Knocker di Brewski è una Black IPA intensa e moderna, che unisce la struttura tostata di una porter o stout alla freschezza luppolata tipica delle IPA contemporanee.

Prodotta dal birrificio svedese Brewski, questa birra si distingue per il contrasto tra note scure del malto e un profilo aromatico agrumato e resinato dato dal dry hopping, creando un equilibrio ricco e dinamico.

Al naso si apre con sentori di caffè leggero, cacao amaro e pane tostato, che si fondono con note di agrumi, pino, resina e frutta tropicale. Al palato è piena ma scorrevole, con una base maltata tostata ben bilanciata da un’amarezza luppolata netta ma pulita. Il finale è lungo, secco e leggermente torrefatto, con ritorni agrumati e resinosi.

Si abbina perfettamente a:hamburger e carni grigliate;piatti speziati e barbecue;formaggi stagionati;dessert al cioccolato fondente.

Da servire a 7–9 °C, è una birra complessa e contemporanea, ideale per chi cerca una IPA dal carattere scuro ma ancora molto aromatica e fresca.
