The palate is lively and tart, with fruit intensity balanced by cider freshness and a touch of oak-derived tannin . Minimize sweetness — this is a more restrained, refreshing take on kriek.
People describe it as vibrant, textural, and palate-cleansing — praise for its balance between fruity and sour elements . It’s unfiltered, non-pasteurized, and fully farm-brewed, with spontaneous fermentation in oak barrels before bottling at the farm.
Best served cool in a tulip glass, it makes a lovely aperitif or pairs well with light cheese, seafood, charcuterie, and summer fruit desserts. A short bottle-age can further harmonize funk, fruit, and acidity, but it’s also ready to drink fresh.
