CARATTERISTICHE: Tipo di birra: Doppio malto d'abbazia Gusto: Rotondo, leggermente maltato Colore: Dorata Temperatura di servizio: 6-8° Fermentazione: Alta Bicchiere: Coppa a chiudere Volume Alcolico: 6,6% Breve storia di una grande birra Negli anni '50 ebbe luogo un incontro, che tutti gli amanti della birra dovrebbero celebrare alzando il loro calice di Leffe. Fu quello tra Padre Abate Nys dell’Abbazia di Leffe e Albert Lootvoet, un mastro birraio di consolidata esperienza. Appassionato dalla storia dell'abbazia, Padre Nys era addolorato perché, dopo la visita non molto amichevole delle truppe rivoluzionarie francesi, la birreria era lentamente andata in rovina finché, nel 1809, dovette chiudere i battenti. Un simile tesoro non poteva cadere nell’oblio. Occorreva far rivivere la birra di Leffe. La sfida fu raccolta con entusiasmo dal Padre e dal Mastro Birraio. Poco tempo dopo, la produzione della birra Leffe riprese con ottimi risultati. Dopo la Leffe Brune, una birra dorata come il sole d'estate cominciò a scorrere nei bicchieri, era la Leffe Blonde. Una delle più belle pagine della storia di Leffe. Il parere dell’esperto “L’antica ricetta di Leffe Blonde unisce il malto chiaro, l'acqua, il luppolo e i lieviti dando vita a una birra dal sapore delicato e dal colore dorato, con riflessi brillanti. Sfumature di vaniglia e chiodi di garofano aggiungono alla sua delicatezza un particolare contrasto di sapori. Per permettere a tutti i suoi aromi di sprigionarsi, servitela preferibilmente a 5-6° nel suo calice in vetro." Appetitosa degustazione Leffe Blonde è la birra da degustazione per eccellenza: si abbina facilmente a molti piatti, in particolare alle carni rosse, ai piatti in agrodolce e ai formaggi freschi, che si sposano perfettamente con la freschezza e le note fruttate della birra. Leffe Blonde ha una gradazione alcolica del 6,6%. Servitela preferibilmente a 5-6° nel suo calice in vetro Leffe, che consente a tutti i suoi aromi di sprigionarsi liberamente.
