Born on Weihenstephan Hill in 1040, the brewery has survived at least four fires, plagues, the dissolution of the monastery and numerous invasions - and is still brewing traditional Bavarian beer in its original location today. Weihenstephaner Pilsner is a balanced, easy-drinking pilsner with a pleasant bitterness and Noble hop aroma.
