Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper (10-14 SRM). Features a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head with good lacing. Clarity is mostly clear with a slight haze acceptable for the high adjunct load.
Aroma. High intensity aroma with prominent American hop characteristics of citrus and resin. This is layered with rich, sun-dried raisin and deep, complex rum notes from barrel oak chips. Malt is supportive and bready, while the fermentation profile is clean with a noticeable but non-solventy alcohol presence.
Taste. Initial impression is creamy and sweet with a nostalgic ice cream character. Strong hop flavors of pine and grapefruit are balanced by dark fruit raisin and vanillic oak.
