This high-gravity Grape Ale, a sophisticated collaboration with Gallia, delivers a vibrant hybrid sensory experience inspired by Pet'Nat' natural wines. The addition of sixteen hundred liters of Grenache Noir juice and whole grapes provides an intense vinous character, bursting with notes of ripe red berries, crushed cherries, and a hint of rustic spice. Natural fermentation with indigenous yeasts adds a delicate earthy complexity that melds with a lean, cracker-like pale malt backbone. Despite its potent eleven percent strength, the profile remains elegantly dry and effervescent, finishing with a graceful alcoholic warmth and lingering notes of grape skin tannin that bridge the gap between fine wine and craft beer.

Appearance. Deep ruby to burgundy with a slight pinkish-white head that shows medium-low retention. Clarity is generally good with a brilliant garnet shimmer, though a faint particulate haze may be present due to the natural fermentation process.

Aroma. High intensity aromatics of the Grenache Noir varietal dominate, featuring prominent notes of red currants, dark plums, and a touch of peppery spice. The malt character is low and neutral, providing a soft bready foundation. Fermentation is complex, displaying subtle rustic leather and tobacco notes from the indigenous yeast, with no perceptible hop aroma.

Taste. The initial impression is intensely vinous and slightly tart, lead by flavors of ripe red fruit and berry skin. The malt is supportive and light, offering minimal pale grain sweetness.
