Le Lez is a luminous Hazy IPA that captures a vibrant interplay between New Zealand and US hops. The signature Verdant yeast provides a supple, estery canvas for a dense hop profile led by Motueka and Citra. Expect a rush of zesty lime and bright grapefruit, grounded by the piney resonance of Simcoe. The addition of NZH-101 introduces a deeply dank, resinous layer alongside lush tropical fruit notes of mango and passionfruit. It presents a velvety, juice-like intensity that balances soft, bready malts with a saturated hop finish, delivering a complex and modern sensory experience.

Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (3-6 SRM). Opaque, glowing haze with a uniform shine and no visible particulates. Topped by a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and thick lacing.

Aroma. High intensity aromatics defined by zesty lime, crushed pineapple, and ripe stone fruit. Bold citrus layers from Citra meet the mojito-lime qualities of Motueka. A distinct, dank, resinous undertone provides depth, while a background of neutral, bready malt and fruity fermentation esters supports the hop-forward profile.

Taste. Explosive fruit-forward flavors featuring mango, lime zest, and passionfruit. The malt provides a soft, grainy, cracker-like foundation. Hop bitterness is moderate and well-restrained, lacking any harshness or hop burn. The yeast adds a subtle peach-like ester character that complements the tropical notes. Finishes off-dry and smooth with a lingering, saturated hop aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation enhances the juice-like sensation without being prickly. Subtle alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated. No astringency or starchiness.
