Unibroue Blanche de Chambly

Witbier 5 º 10 IBU
Unibroue’s Blanche de Chambly is a quintessential Witbier that pours a luminous, pale straw with a signature milky cloudiness and a dense, white head. The aromatic profile is defined by a delicate marriage of bready wheat malts and a bright, zesty citrus bouquet of orange and lemon peel. Subtle spicy undertones of coriander and herbal yeast esters add complexity without overpowering the palate. Its mouthfeel is remarkably effervescent and champagne-like, characterized by a smooth, velvety texture from the unmalted wheat. Each sip transitions from honeyed grain sweetness to a crisp, dry finish that remains exceptionally refreshing and clean.
Appearance. 2-4 SRM. Pale straw to deep yellow. Hazy to opaque with a milky-white shine from starch and yeast. Dense, white, moussy head with excellent retention.
Aroma. Moderate intensity. Bready, grainy wheat malt with light notes of honey and vanilla. Prominent zesty, orangey citrus fruitiness and perfumy-lemony coriander. Subtile herbal and spicy yeast-derived phenols.
Taste. Initial bready wheat malt flavor with a touch of vanilla sweetness. Moderate zesty orange and lemon peel citrus character. Subtle herbal-spicy flavors, including lemony coriander, balanced by low hop bitterness. Finish is refreshingly crisp and dry with no harsh aftertaste.
