This Wild Specialty Beer delivers a striking sensory experience reminiscent of a firecracker popsicle. A vibrant blend of raspberry and blueberry purées drives a deep berry character, seamlessly integrated with the tropical and crushed grape notes of Nelson and Mosaic hops. The addition of raw wheat and milk sugar provides a luscious, creamy texture that balances the sharp lactic tartness typical of a Sour Double IPA. The result is a complex profile where bright fruit acidity meets a velvety sweetness, underpinned by a potent 8% ABV and a nuanced hop bitterness that ensures a clean, structured finish.
Appearance. Pours a deep, hazy magenta to reddish-purple with a persistent, pale pink head. The high wheat content and fruit pulp contribute to an opaque, saturated appearance with moderate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity aromatics of fresh raspberry and jammy blueberry dominate. Layered beneath the fruit are pungent notes of tropical fruit, passionfruit, and white grape from the hops.
