Krampus 2025 is an opulent Imperial Stout crafted to evoke the sensory indulgence of a traditional Christmas cake. An intense aromatic profile of Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Ginger, and All Spice leads the experience, underpinned by a heavy malt foundation of dark chocolate and espresso. Bright notes of Orange zest and the subtle, nutty sweetness of Almond add layers of festive complexity. The inclusion of Lactose ensures a velvety, luscious texture that coats the palate, balancing the robust 10.8% ABV. Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque (40+ SRM). Crowned by a dense, persistent dark tan head with excellent lacing; high viscosity is evident through thick legs on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity with a rich blend of roasted grain, dark cocoa, and a pungent spice rack featuring Cinnamon, Ginger, and Nutmeg. Substantial Orange citrus esters and a marzipan-like Almond character are supported by a clean, moderate alcohol warmth.
