This American Strong Ale delivers a notoriously aggressive sensory experience, characterized by its uncompromising intensity and depth. A bold, resinous pine and sharp grapefruit hop character dominates the foreground, anchored by a robust and complex malt base of rich caramel and toasted bread. The brewer’s intent of aggression is realized through a fierce, lingering bitterness that cuts through the substantial body. Layered notes of dark fruit and a hint of woodiness emerge as the beer warms, leading into a powerful, bittersweet finish. It is a bold, challenging pour where significant hop-derived pungency meets the depth of a sturdy malt backbone.

Appearance. Deep copper to light brown (14–18 SRM). Thick, persistent light tan head with excellent lacing. Brilliant clarity.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring resinous pine, citrus zest, and a hint of herbal spice. Bold supporting maltiness with heavy caramel, toasty bread, and subtle dark fruit esters.

Taste. Initial impression is dominated by intense hop bitterness. Medium-high malt flavors of rich caramel, toffee, and toasted grain. High hop flavor mirrors the aroma with pine and grapefruit peel. The finish is long and bittersweet with a lingering resinous character and a touch of alcohol warmth.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture. Moderate carbonation. Noticeable alcohol warmth that remains well-integrated. Light hop astringency is present but not harsh.
