This Double IPA is a sensory tropical storm, showcasing a vivid interplay between Citra, Citra Cryo, and Idaho 7 hops. The nose is greeted by an explosive intensity of stone fruits, specifically ripe peach and apricot, followed by sharp accents of fresh lime and tart red currants. The palate mirrors this complexity, delivering layers of tropical fruit atop a clean, neutral malt base that keeps the focus squarely on the hop profile. A firm but smooth bitterness leads into a dry, lingering finish, while the 8% ABV provides a refined, well-integrated warmth typical of the style.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (7-9 SRM). Pours with a moderate-sized, persistent off-white head that leaves delicate lacing. Clarity is mostly clear with a very faint, acceptable haze.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma. Leading notes of stone fruit, specifically peach and apricot, and bright citrus lime zest. Subtle berry-like currants and tropical fruit undertones. Malt is a supportive, clean, grainy background. Fermentation is neutral with very low fruity esters.

Taste. Strong, complex hop flavors dominated by Citra citrus and Idaho 7 stone fruit character. Initial impression of ripe peach and lime. Bitterness is moderately high but smooth and not harsh.
