This British Brown Ale presents a deep reddish hue with a dense, creamy foam. The aroma is exceptionally fresh, blending sweet toffee and nutty malt notes with a distinctive spicy layer of coriander. On the palate, a lush malt sweetness leads with flavors of caramel and light chocolate, balanced by the herbal, peppery warmth of the added spice. While rooted in the British tradition, the bottle refermentation provides a refined, creamy mouthfeel and a full-bodied texture. It finishes with a lingering, gentle sweetness and a spicy, peppery aftertaste that highlights the brewer’s unique addition of coriander.

Appearance. Deep reddish-brown color (approx. 20 SRM). Exhibits a compact, firm, and creamy off-white to light tan head with excellent retention and lacing. Clear with a slight effervescence.

Aroma. Moderate intensity. Dominant sweet malt aroma characterized by toffee, nutty tones, and light chocolate. A fresh, spicy coriander note is prominent, complementing low fruity esters and a subtle earthy hop character.

Taste. Initial impression is moderately sweet and malty. Flavors of caramel, toasted nuts, and toffee lead, followed by a light chocolate character. The addition of coriander provides a distinctive spicy, peppery flavor that persists into the finish. Low bitterness provides just enough balance to the malt-forward profile. The finish is slightly sweet and lingering with a spicy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a creamy, smooth texture. Moderate carbonation provides a gentle sparkle on the tongue. A light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present.
