This American Stout presents a deeply indulgent profile, defined by a foundation of Black malts that yield intense notes of roasted coffee and bittersweet chocolate. The inclusion of Caramel malts provides a necessary sweetness and creamy texture, balancing the assertive, resiny hop bitterness characteristic of the brewery's house style. On the nose, high-intensity roast dominates, complemented by a clean, citrusy hop character and a hint of dark fruit. The experience is full-bodied and satisfyingly rich, finishing with a lingering roasted dryness and a smooth, well-integrated warmth that underscores its robust and classic American character.

Appearance. Jet black and opaque (SRM 35-40) with a large, persistent, light-tan head that leaves dense lacing on the glass.

Aroma. Moderate-high intensity roast aroma featuring espresso and dark chocolate. A medium resiny and slightly citrusy hop character is present, supported by light caramel sweetness and low esters.

Taste. Initial impressions of dark chocolate and roasted coffee beans lead into mid-palate notes of toasted caramel. Firm hop bitterness balances the malt richness. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering roasted grain character and subtle resiny hop flavor.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a creamy, smooth texture. Carbonation is moderate-high. A light, pleasant alcohol warmth is noticeable but remains smooth and well-integrated.
