Inspired by the depths of the Arctic, this Imperial Stout is a malt-forward powerhouse that balances aggressive intensity with refined complexity. Appearance. Opaque, jet black (40 SRM) with a dense, persistent dark tan head that leaves thick lacing. High viscosity is apparent in the glass, forming visible legs upon swirling.
Aroma. High intensity with prominent notes of freshly roasted espresso beans and bittersweet cocoa. Subtle nuances of charred grain and a whisper of woodsmoke complement moderate dark fruit esters resembling dried plums and prunes. Very low earthy hop character.
