This double-decocted Munich Dunkel represents a cross-continental collaboration, blending deep Czech tradition with a modern American twist. The double-decoction mash produces a robust, bready foundation characterized by rich notes of toasted crust and dark chocolate. A subtle dry-hopping with Simcoe introduces a distinctive resinous top note that weaves through the traditional nutty and cocoa-forward profile. Expect a smooth, clean-fermenting dark lager where the earthy bitterness of the hops balances the malt depth, resulting in a refined finish that highlights both old-world technique and contemporary hopping.

Appearance. Deep mahogany with vibrant garnet highlights; crowned by a dense, creamy, light tan head with excellent retention. Brilliant clarity achieved through extended lagering.

Aroma. High malt richness dominated by toasted bread crusts and milk chocolate. Distinctive nutty undertones are accented by a moderate, resinous hop aroma from the Simcoe dry-hopping. Clean, cold-fermented lager profile with no esters.
