This Black IPA presents a striking interplay between deep roasted malts and a vibrant hop profile featuring Amarillo, Citra, and Ekuanot. The nose is greeted by a high intensity of grapefruit, tangerine, and tropical melon, underscored by a subtle, clean chocolate note. On the palate, the hop-forward bitterness is firm but smooth, avoiding ashy harshness by utilizing debittered grains. The Citra provides a sharp citrus edge, while Amarillo adds floral orange notes and Ekuanot contributes a complex herbal and lime pith character. This medium-bodied ale finishes dry with a lingering resinous snap and a gentle, supportive wisp of toasted malt.

Appearance. Dark brown to opaque black (35 SRM) with a persistent, light tan head that leaves fine lacing on the glass.
