This historic Wallonian Saison presents a rustic, cloudy amber-orange pour capped by a dense, persistent head. The aroma is a complex tapestry of spicy yeast and an artisanal blend of black pepper, ginger, star anise, and sweet orange peel. On the palate, a vibrant citrus character from curaçao and coriander mingles with a soft, grainy malt base. True to its heritage, it is exceptionally dry and refreshing, featuring a light, zesty acidity that sharpens the finish. The interplay between traditional continental hops and the bold spice profile creates a sophisticated, highly attenuated experience typical of the farmhouse tradition.

Appearance. Deep amber to orange with a cloudy, unfiltered appearance (10-14 SRM). Features a dense, long-lasting ivory head with significant Belgian lace. Highly effervescent.

Aroma. High intensity aromatic profile. Dominant spicy notes of black pepper, ginger, and star anise. Fruity esters reminiscent of citrus and sweet orange peel. Low grainy malt scent with a distinct, slightly acidic tang.

Taste. Complex and dry initial impression. Flavors of citrus and curaçao lead into a mid-palate of soft, grainy malt. Significant spicy character from ginger and coriander. Moderate hop bitterness is complemented by a refreshing, light acidity. Finishes very dry and crisp with a lingering spicy aftertaste.
