This Imperial Stout is an indulgent, velvet-textured exploration of dark malts and intense cocoa. Aromas of bittersweet chocolate and roasted espresso dominate, complemented by deep notes of dried figs and prunes. On the palate, the cocoa addition amplifies the natural roasted character, creating a decadent layer of dark chocolate fudge supported by a firm, balancing bitterness. At 10% ABV, a smooth, integrated alcohol warmth develops, enhancing the full, chewy body without becoming solventy. The finish is long and bittersweet, leaving a lingering impression of high-quality cocoa and toasted malts in a harmonious, complex display of strength and sweetness.

Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque. Pours with a thick, persistent deep tan head that leaves significant lacing. Visible viscosity is apparent in the form of slow-moving legs on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity. Dominant aromas of bittersweet chocolate and Dutch-process cocoa. Supporting notes of roasted coffee, black licorice, and burnt grain. Moderate esters of dried plum and raisin. Low earthy hop character with a subtle, clean alcohol presence.

Taste. Rich and complex. Initial flavors of dark chocolate fudge and espresso. Mid-palate reveals toasted bread and caramel malt sweetness balanced by a firm, aggressively high bitterness. The added cocoa provides a deep, authentic chocolate layer. Moderate dark fruit esters like fig. Finish is moderately sweet but balanced by roast, trailing into a long, bittersweet, and warming aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Full-bodied and chewy with a luscious, velvety texture. Carbonation is low to moderate. Noticeable, smooth alcohol warmth is well-integrated and pleasant. No astringency.

Imperial Stout cacao artesano procedente de los tostadores de Puchero

Imperial Stout de corte clásico, nos vamos a encontrar con un petróleo bien negro, con una espuma abundante de color marrón tirando hacia el carbón. En aroma nos vamos a encontrar con una cerveza con notas torrefactas, a chocolate, sutilmente a café y toffe. Procedentes sobretodo de las maltas oscuras utilizadas para elaborarla. En boca vamos a tener una cerveza cálida, con un cuerpo medio y sedosa. Aún con sus 10% de alcohol, es una cerveza muy poco alcohólica en boca y de fácil trago. Vamos a encontrar notas amargas, a pasas, chocolate, toffe y notas torrefactas procedentes de las maltas.
