Range Brewing - Rituals I - Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout Price: $18 Rituals is the fifth release of our Barrel-Aged Stout program and this year we've taken inspiration from our flagship Pastry Stout, Morning Ritual. Rituals I is a rich and decadent Imperial Pastry Stout, aged in Cape Byron Distilling whisky barrels, then conditioned on toasted coconut, and Tahitian vanilla beans. This is everything we'd hoped for our Barrel-Aged Ritual sibling. It can really only be described as a boozy Golden Rough on steroids. On both the palate and the nose rich and warming barrel notes come shining through, before coconut slowly develops on the senses and creeps through to a crescendo of toasted crunchy coconut. After the toasted coconut comes a chocolate and vanilla hit, before smooth and rich whisky notes take over for the finish.
