This extraordinarily strong Doppelbock presents a decadent profile driven by a complex grain bill including Pilsner, Wheat, and Munich malts. The deep garnet liquid yields an intense aromatic display of rich caramel, dark toffee, and toasted chocolate. On the palate, a profound malty sweetness dominates, offering lush notes of dried plums and a hint of bitter coffee. Noble Saaz and Sládek hops provide a delicate, spicy counterpoint that balances the significant residual sugar. A smooth, warming alcohol presence integrates seamlessly into the full-bodied experience, concluding with a long, lingering finish of dark fruit and Maillard richness.
Appearance. Dark garnet to deep reddish-brown (approximately 25 SRM); large, creamy, tan head with excellent persistence and fine lacing; brilliant clarity despite the depth of color.
Aroma. High intensity malt-forward profile. Dominated by rich Maillard products, toffee, and caramel. Distinct notes of dried plums and dark grapes are present. Low chocolate-like aroma with a faint hint of dark coffee. No hop aroma is detectable, maintaining a clean lager fermentation character.
Taste. Initial impression is one of intense malty sweetness. Deeply toasted malt flavors of bread crust, caramel, and chocolate lead into a dark fruit mid-palate reminiscent of raisins and plums. Hop bitterness is low to moderate, but sufficient to prevent cloying, backed by a very low spicy hop flavor. The finish is long and warming with a lingering coffee-like bitterness and sweet malt complexity.
Mouthfeel. Full-bodied and viscous with a smooth, velvety texture. Carbonation is moderate to moderately low. Noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth that provides a comforting glow without being harsh or fusel.

El 24% que aparece como indicativo en la etiqueta no hace referencia al alcohol, sino al porcentaje de malta que contiene. Muy distinta a las cervezas tradicionales cervezas checas, de alta graduación alcohólica, y que se refiere como la más fuerte elaborada con fines comerciales en la República Checa. Color oscuro, produce una espuma oscura, cremosa. Aroma y sabor dominado por maltas tostadas, con notas de café y caramelo, nada amarga. Al gusto se percibe su alta graduación alcohólica. Es una cerveza muy intensa, de sabor muy maltoso y final dulce.
