PINTA Upgrade Your September is a vibrant, session-strength Hazy IPA designed for high drinkability and aromatic impact. The grist, featuring oat malt and wheat flakes, provides a characteristic hazy appearance and a soft, pillowy texture that carries the hops effortlessly. A deliberate dry-hop trio of Citra, Nelson Sauvin, and Cryo Hops Sabro creates a complex sensory profile. Expect bright citrus and mango from the Citra, sophisticated notes of crushed white grapes and gooseberry from the Nelson Sauvin, and a distinctive hint of tropical coconut from the Sabro. It is a refreshing, hop-forward experience with a gentle bitterness and a clean, fruity finish.
Appearance. Straw to light gold (3-4 SRM). Opaque, hazy clarity with a luminous shine. Persistent, rocky, meringue-like white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring tropical fruit, grapefruit (Citra), and white wine grapes (Nelson Sauvin), with a subtle creamy coconut note (Sabro). Background malt is clean, bready, and lightly grainy with no caramel; fermentation is neutral with supportive fruity esters.
Taste. Massive fruity hop flavor echoing the tropical, citrus, and vinous aroma. Low to medium perceived bitterness that is smooth and never harsh. Low bready malt flavor provides a soft foundation. The finish is off-dry to medium and exceptionally clean with a lingering fruity aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, soft texture derived from flaked grains. Moderate carbonation. No alcohol warmth or astringency; lacks any raw starch or heavy creaminess.
