This collaboration with Lochlea Distillery celebrates not only ours but their 5th Birthday too, a toast to our shared love of great drinks.
Earlier this year we brewed our first double mash stout using 12 kinds of malts including Caramalt, Chocolate Malt, Chocolate Wheat, Chocolate Rye, Carabohemian etc.
The rich chocolate caramel base was then matured in Lochlea’s special selection of barrels allowing them to create their first core product ‘Our Barley’. This barrel combination included the perfect recipe of ex-bourbon, ex-Oloroso sherry casks as well as shaved, toasted and re-charred barriques.
