Our Barley Aged is an imperial stout which has been aged in barrels from the Lochlea Distillery in Kilmarnock. Earlier this year Overtone brewed their first double mash stout using 12 kinds of malts. The rich chocolate caramel-flavoured beer was then matured in Lochlea’s special selection of barrels. This barrel combination includes ex-bourbon, ex-Oloroso sherry and ex-Rioja casks.
