This Double IPA presents an assertive and modern hop profile driven by a potent blend of Strata, Mosaic, and Galaxy. The sensory experience is dominated by vibrant layers of tropical fruit, specifically ripe pineapple and sweet melon, underpinned by a distinct resinous dankness characteristic of the Strata addition. Despite its 7.7% ABV, the beer maintains a clean, lean malt backbone that allows the hop intensity to shine without becoming heavy or cloying. The finish is crisp and dry, emphasizing a persistent yet smooth bitterness that invites another sip, embodying the bold spirit of mountain-inspired brewing.

Appearance. Deep gold color (7 SRM) with a slight, attractive haze. Topped by a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of pineapple from the Galaxy hops and a signature dank, resinous quality from the Strata. Mosaic adds layers of ripe melon and subtle citrus. A clean, neutral, grainy malt presence sits in the background, supporting a very light fruity fermentation profile.

Taste. The initial impression is a burst of tropical pineapple and sweet melon. The hop flavor is complex and saturating, echoing the aroma's resinous dankness. Malt character is soft and unobtrusive, providing a clean foundation. Bitterness is firm and assertive but lacks harshness, leading into a dry, clean finish with a long-lingering hoppy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, velvety texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a crisp lift to the palate. A restrained, smooth alcohol warmth is present, consistent with its strength, with no perceived hop-derived astringency.
