This foundation is shaped by traditional open fermentation in spilka vessels, resulting in a fuller body and complex extract profile. The sensory experience is defined by triple hopping with classic Saaz hops alongside modern varieties, delivering a vibrant herbal and spicy bouquet with a notably firm, clean bitterness. Its character is robust yet balanced, offering a smooth, rounded palate that finishes with a long, satisfying hop resonance and the creamy texture characteristic of a traditional hladinka pour.
Appearance. Deep gold color (5-6 SRM). Brilliant clarity. Dense, creamy, long-lasting white head with fine bubbles and excellent lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity with a rich, bready-rich malt character. The hop profile is prominent, featuring classic spicy, floral, and herbal notes from Saaz hops complemented by modern varieties. Clean fermentation profile with a hint of low diacetyl and very low fruity esters.
Taste. Rich, complex bready maltiness forms the initial impression. Pronounced but rounded bitterness provides structural balance without harshness.
