Ophiussa Vesper presents as a lush Wild Specialty Beer reimagined through the lens of a tropical smoothie. An intense sensory profile leads with vibrant pineapple and sun-drenched peach, supported by the musky, exotic depth of juicy guava. The coconut provides a creamy, rounding sweetness that softens the refreshing tartness of the wild fermentation. This interplay creates a complex experience where bold tropical fruit sweetness is countered by a clean, soft acidity. The result is a vibrant, fruit-forward character where the individual fruit identities remain distinct yet harmoniously integrated, concluding with a silky, coconut-infused finish that lingers pleasantly on the palate.

Appearance. Opaque and thick-bodied with a deep orange to peach-tinted hue (SRM 6-9). Head is off-white with low retention and minimal lacing, typical for beers with high fruit solids and coconut oils.

Aroma. High intensity aromatics dominated by fresh pineapple, tropical guava, and stone fruit peach. A soft, lactic tartness provides a clean backdrop, while a subtle, creamy coconut sweetness rounds out the fruit-forward profile. Malt and hop aromas are absent.

Taste. Initial impression is an explosion of tropical fruit, following the aroma with distinct notes of juicy guava and tangy pineapple. The peach provides a fleshy sweetness that is balanced by a soft, refreshing lactic acidity. Malt character is minimal, providing only a slight doughy support. Bitterness is non-existent (0 IBU). The finish is long and creamy, characterized by lingering coconut and fruit nectar.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full to full body with a thick, smoothie-like viscosity. Carbonation is moderate, providing a slight lift to the heavy fruit texture. Alcohol warmth is negligible. High levels of fruit solids contribute to a rich, creamy mouthfeel without significant astringency.
