Big Woof! Strap in for our first stout of the season, and by the heavens, this beast is an absolute boozy doozy! You might want to catch your breath for this one. Mongrel is a juxtaposition of chaos and beauty – a 12-grain imperial stout base employing a collective 18-hour boil with hot-side additions of milk sugar, cocoa nibs, lightly toasted coffee beans, and coconut flakes. Big oof. After extensive conditioning in primary stainless, we’ve then gone and blended and transferred onto a plethora of cocoa beans, vanilla paste, marshmallow fluff, candy syrup, and burnt brown sugar - we loaded this mongrel up with everything we could find. It’s a dog's world, we just live in it.
