Fermentation with Verdant yeast introduces lush stone fruit esters of apricot and peach, which weave through a rustic, nutty malt foundation provided by malted spelt. On the palate, the interplay of tropical fruit and vinous citrus is balanced by a soft, bready grain character and a firm but clean bitterness. The finish is remarkably smooth, creamy, and fruit-forward.
Appearance. Pale golden (5-6 SRM) with a persistent, dense white head and fine lacing. Reflecting modern interpretations, the beer exhibits a hazy, opaque clarity due to the use of malted spelt and specific yeast strains.
