This vibrant Hazy IPA delivers an explosion of tropical and citrus notes, driven by a heavy-handed addition of Citra and El Dorado hops. The inclusion of tangerine puree seamlessly amplifies the natural citrus profile, creating a saturated orange and stone fruit character that defines its juicy personality. At 7.5% ABV, it maintains a soft, pillowy presence on the palate with a restrained bitterness that allows the fruit-forward profile to lead. The fermentation character is clean and supportive, enhancing the hop-driven esters and creating a multi-dimensional experience that remains approachable while offering deep layers of citrus intensity and a lush, smooth finish.
Appearance. Color is a deep gold to light orange (5-7 SRM) with a significant, opaque haze that creates a matte-like shine. It is topped by a dense, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. Intensity is high, dominated by fresh tangerine, tropical mango, and citrus zest from the Citra and El Dorado hops. A light, bready malt sweetness sits in the background, while the fermentation profile is clean with subtle fruity esters that complement the hop character.
Taste. The initial impression is intensely fruity, featuring bold tangerine and tropical fruit flavors. Low to moderate bitterness provides just enough balance against a supportive, grainy malt backbone. The finish is off-dry and exceptionally smooth, with a lingering citrus aftertaste that lacks any harshness or hop bite.
Mouthfeel. The body is medium-full with a soft, pillowy texture and a smooth mouthfeel. Carbonation is moderate. There is a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth that reflects the 7.5% ABV without being sharp or disruptive.
