Armeniaca presents a lush, sensory-rich experience that bridges the gap between a classic Hazy IPA and a vibrant fruit harvest. The infusion of dried apricots and mangoes creates an immediate, velvety depth of stone fruit character, further amplified by the tropical complexity of Sabro Lupomax and El Dorado hops. Expect an olfactory journey dominated by sun-ripened apricot and succulent mango, supported by subtle notes of coconut and pineapple. This New England IPA maintains a soft, pillowy structure, balancing its 7.5% potency with a restrained bitterness and a smooth, grain-forward finish that highlights the purity of the added fruit.
Appearance. Deep straw to light orange (5-7 SRM); opaque, consistent haze providing a matte-like shine. Topped with a rocky, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity of dried apricot and fresh mango pulp. The hop character is equally bold, featuring Sabro-driven coconut and tropical cream alongside El Dorado’s pineapple and stone fruit notes. Low bready malt and neutral esters in the background.
Taste. High fruity hop and fruit addition flavors centered on apricot, mango, and tropical peach. Malt flavor is low and lightly bready. Perceived bitterness is low to medium-low, seamlessly integrated into a soft, off-dry finish. No harsh hop burn; the aftertaste is a clean, lingering fruit essence.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation and a smooth, creamy mouthfeel. A gentle, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present without being hot or fusel.
